Shortly after an inpatient psychiatric hold, Lila, a failing novelist drifting through her late twenties, gets a job at a food truck through her best friend, Pete. Soon Pete is Lila's boss, the true (horrid) working conditions of the job are revealed, and Lila's fresh start quickly turns disillusioning. Then, on a cross-town gig, Lila and Pete take a wrong turn into Hell.
